Day 35

136.0
Woo hoo! Getting closer...to my goal weight AND day 42.

Day 34

137.0
I am a little annoyed by the wall I have hit but as usual I think it is because I sm having difficulties going to the bathroom. I also think it is because I have very little
left to lose. I am ready for the next phase and a little exercise.

Phone blogging

I just figured out I can blog from my phone. I feel a little silly for not realizing this sooner, but better late than never.
Things are going well with the end nearing. I am only 2lbs from my goal weight but I would like to lose a few more. I was a size 8 before Thanksgiving and now I am a 4!!! I cannot believe it. I had to exchange many Christmas gifts because they were TOO BIG! What a great feeling. Excited about my new body in the new year!

Day 31-33

Day 31: 139.0
Day 32: 137.5
Day 33: 137.5
Not a lot to report. Life has been very slow, relaxed, and wonderful! The hardest part of 500 calories (or one of the hardest) is being at home. When you sit still, your mind wanders to food. So needless to say, for diet purposes, I prefer to be busy.

Christmas Week on hc3 (Day 25-Day 30)

Day 25: 142.0
Day 26: 141.5
Day 27: 140.5 (had 1 drink while wrapping presents)
Day 28: 139.0
Day 29: 139.0 (Christmas Eve)
Day 30: 137.5 What a great Christmas present! I'm so close to my goal! The nutritionist set it for 135.0 but I'd like to get a few extra pounds off. I know at that weight I will have to exercise to tone up and have the body I truly want. My hubby bought me LOTS of new clothes and I'm so excited that they are all smalls or size 4!!!! From an 8 to a 4 in 30 days! That's amazing!!!

Day 23 & 24

Day 23: 140.0
Day 24: 142.5
I guess those coctails finally caught me. Christmas is coming and I'm trying to formulate a plan of attack so I will be prepared for the food I will be faced with. The good news is this year it will just be my small family so I'm in charge of what's for dinner. I won't be making dessert and everything will be oil free!

Day 21 & 22

Day 21: 143.0
Day 22: 141.5
I went on a date tonight with my husband. We haven't seen each other in a while so it was well deserved. I ate very well. My meat portion was a little larger than 3.5 oz but I didn't eat any bread or dessert. That all sounds good except I had 2 coctails...Vodka with Diet Coke. I tried to find the best solution to my hc3 cheat. I can try to justify this but there's really no excuse and I know it will slow my progress. C'est la vie!

Day 20

Yay! 143.5!!!!
I guess the changes I made really worked! Speaking of changes...SUPER GREENS...
I know these are maes than delicious, but they are a useful tool. They are healthy and filling. I really use these to give me that full feeling at night. I prefer them before dinner so my food replaces the after taste. I also prefer to drink it quickly with an iced tea chaser!

Day 14-19

I have been really stuck this week between 145 & 146. I have been so frustrated and not sure what I have been doing wrong. Two theories: not enough calories, not able to use the restroom, and not drinking my super greens. Okay, so that was three theories ;)
Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Day 13

Weight: 145
I made an amazing soup tonight! I am happy to find some new things to cook. It definitely takes time to change your way of thinking.
Chicken Soup:
Cook 9 chicken tenders in chicken stock. Rinse when fully cooked.
Fill a large pot with 1 box of chicken stock, 4 boxes of water (I used stock box), and added bullion.
Entire stalk of celery
Box of spinach
Dried onions
Chopped cooked chicken
*I add tbsp of MCT oil when I heat my soup for dinner.

Day 12

Weight: 146.0
I have a new favorite thing to eat....
TACO WRAPS! Seasoned taco meat with salsa rolled in iceberg is absolutely delicious! I miss the cheese but I'll take it. This has been a nice change from my broccoli combo.

Day 11

Weight: 146.5
Finally going in the right direction.
I don't have a lot to report except how happy I am. The hunger is getting better. I'm not hungry at bed time. I make myself drink the Power Greens before or after dinner. This really helps. Just chase it with some tea :)
(Next time I'll get Power Reds!)

Day 6-10

Day 6: 150.0
Day 7: 149.5
Had a tea disaster at McDonald's. Asked for unsweet tea but didn't check before adding Stevia. Drank a bit before I realized the mistake. Trust me, this is the SHORT version of the story!
Day 8: 148.0 (STARVING!)
Day 9: 149.0 (Is this the after math of the tea disaster!?)
Spent the day in the ER with my youngest. This did not help my eating schedule and I'm sure the stress is not going to help on the scale. (He's fine!)
Day 10: 149.0
Sweet Tea, ER, not sure what to blame all of this on.

Words of encouragement for new hc3 users

Before I started this diet, those around me kept saying "It's so easy!" "I'm never hungry!" "I have to make myself eat the 500 calories!" The last week has made me feel as though they were all BIG FAT LIARS! However, there is hope! I really feel that our bodies need a week to adjust to the major lifestyle change requierd by the hc3 program. I no longer crave food or feel as though I'm starving all day. I'm hungry at the right times, such as lunch and dinner. I'm no longer hungry when I go to bed at night. Have hope! If you can make it 7 days, you can make it 42.

This is a major shift in thinking. If you are hungry, you will really think about how you want to satisfy your 50 calorie snack. I would much rather have a bowl of vegetables or an apple instead of a few pretzels! I know I will come back to this when I get to bump up to 1200 calories.
